  • City of Gonzales Youth Flag Football Registration is Now Open (City Hall 147 Fourth Street)
  • It's still not too late to register to vote and make sure your voice is heard, Gonzales! Beat the October 22nd deadline and register to vote online by clicking on this link
    • Those interested in volunteering to be poll workers can contact the Monterey County Registrar of Voter's office at: 831-796-1485
    • On a recent tour of their facility, we found out that community service organizations providing volunteers can opt to have volunteers donate their stipend to that service group! This would be a great fundraiser for one or more of our local service clubs!
  • This Weekend: Sunday, October 14th-Salinas Valley Pride event at Toro Park (see slide for details)
  • This Saturday & Sunday: Reuse, Recycle & Cleanup Days event at Fairview Middle School
    • See slide for very important details (like no large furniture, sofas, or yard waste)
    • FREE small car & truck tire event begins at the Johnson Canyon Landfill on Saturday
  • This Saturday: Gonzales Lions Club "Trick or Treat Boo-tique" at the American Legion Hall (419 Fifth Street)
  • Saturday, October 27: Gonzales Police Department National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

  • Wednesday, October 31: 2nd Annual Gonzales Police Department "Haunted Police Department" (Be there, or be scared!)
  • The GUSD Parent "Cafecito" meeting schedule has been updated
    • Please make sure to participate in these meetings to become an informed advocate for your children and all children in the community
